Inspired by Exodus 16:4 — “I will rain down bread from heaven for you.”

This original artwork was created as part of an Exodus sermon series displayed in church, exploring themes of divine provision, trust, and spiritual nourishment. During the series, the painting was projected and used alongside teaching from the Book of Exodus, making this piece deeply connected to worship, scripture, and reflection.

Painted with acrylics and expressive oil pastel work, this piece combines contemporary abstraction with scripture-inspired storytelling. While acrylic paint establishes the architectural shapes and flowing composition, the focal point — the hands and bread — was richly developed in oil pastel, creating deeper texture, warmth, and emotional presence at the center of the artwork.
